Red Wolf Coffee is an American brand from the 1920s, a subsidiary of Ridenour-Baker Grocery Company, founded in 1910 on the railroads in Kansas City. The company dissolved in 1936 and their signature image of a wolf in red on gold slipped into the public domain.
We enjoy the history of things and are still learning about the original brand. So far we have found the artwork in archives both hand painted and as a lithographed tin slip. Resurrecting this branding is a nod to another time when the craftsmanship of coffee was celebrated, the methods of production were precise and analog, and coffee was recognized as a specialty product.
